Le ricette della Zia Mina, the recipes of Auntie Mina, are a range of traditional Italian spirits and liqueurs.
Fruit-Infused grappas and homemade liqueurs are a tradition in the Valchiavenna, the family home.
These simple yet time-tested recipes are an invitation to taste genuine local ingredients, whose fragrance and taste shine through.
The idea was to recount the family story, transmitting the values of respect for the environment and individuals and the care and pleasure that goes into making our products.
Aunt Mina, who is now in her 90’s, was a highly dynamic and inspirational woman, who had a major impact on our Company.
These bottles are a tribute to her and her five younger brothers who left their village in the mountains to create a distillery in Alto Piemonte.
The five brothers in turn had five sons who run the Company today. The distillery is the first carbon neutral distillery in Italy and through Lifegate we own part of a virgin forest in Costa Rica.
The labels and drawings were made by Italian illustrator Ilaria Zanellato and the layout by Paolo Richetti.
